DICOM Printer 2 is proprietary software developed and owned by Flux Inc.

Software License ​

DICOM Printer 2 is licensed software. By installing and using DICOM Printer 2, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in the End User License Agreement (EULA) provided during installation.

DICOM Printer 2, its documentation, and all associated materials are protected by copyright law and international treaty provisions.

Restrictions ​

Unless otherwise specified in your license agreement, you may NOT:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
  • Modify or create derivative works
  • Remove or alter copyright notices
  • Distribute, sublicense, or transfer the software
  • Use the software for purposes other than intended
  • Share activation codes with unauthorized parties

Permitted Use ​

Your license permits you to:

  • Install and use DICOM Printer 2 on authorized systems
  • Create backup copies of configuration files
  • Use the software in accordance with its documentation
  • Receive updates and support as outlined in your license agreement

Activation ​

DICOM Printer 2 requires activation to function. Activation:

  • Verifies legitimate licensed use
  • Enables full functionality
  • May be hardware-locked
  • Requires renewal based on license type

Third-Party Components ​

DICOM Printer 2 incorporates third-party components, each with their own license terms:

DCMTK (DICOM Toolkit) ​

DCMTK is used under its permissive open-source license.

Qt Framework ​

Qt is used in accordance with LGPL v3 licensing requirements.

Other Components ​

Additional third-party libraries and components are used in compliance with their respective licenses. A complete list of third-party components and their licenses is available in the installation directory:

DICOM PRINTER 2 IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THE SOFTWARE IS WITH YOU.

IN NO EVENT WILL FLUX INC BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, INCLUDING ANY LOST PROFITS, LOST SAVINGS, OR OTHER INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF FLUX INC HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

Medical Device Disclaimer ​

DICOM Printer 2 is designed as a general-purpose DICOM communication and document management tool. It is NOT intended for:

  • Primary diagnostic interpretation
  • Patient diagnosis or treatment decisions
  • Life-supporting or life-sustaining applications
  • Any application where software failure could lead to death, personal injury, or severe property damage

Use of DICOM Printer 2 in medical environments is subject to local regulations and institutional policies. Users are responsible for:

  • Validating fitness for intended use
  • Compliance with applicable regulations
  • Proper training of operators
  • Appropriate quality assurance procedures

Compliance ​

Users are responsible for ensuring their use of DICOM Printer 2 complies with:

  • HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) in the United States
  • GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) in the European Union
  • Local privacy and data protection regulations
  • Healthcare facility policies and procedures

Flux Inc provides tools for secure operation, but compliance is ultimately the responsibility of the user and their organization.

License Agreement ​

The complete End User License Agreement (EULA) is:

  • Presented during software installation
  • Available in the installation directory
  • Governs all use of the software

By installing or using DICOM Printer 2, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of the EULA.

License Updates ​

Flux Inc reserves the right to modify license terms for future versions of DICOM Printer 2. Updates to license terms will be provided with new releases and require acceptance before installation.
